Our Story
Financial hope and freedom.
In early 2008, a dream started to take shape in Canada’s capital region.
Recognizing the financial burden the Canadian family was carrying, a small group of financial coaches and literacy professionals began to walk with individuals, families, and communities in the area of financial cash flow awareness and management through one-on-one coaching and accountability.
For the last 18 years, More Than Enough Financial has been coaching Canadians to financial health, helping people live on less than they make, create spending plans, pay down debt, and save for the future.
In 2023, the continuation of that mission started to develop at Wellspring Oasis Canada (WOC), expanding the reach and provision of financial literacy, coaching, and stewardship education, bringing financial refreshment and renewal to people struggling with limited income, and poor financial understanding.
Seeing the need to advance financial education and provide poverty relief, this not-for-profit expression of financial coaching and education was launched. The WOC programs are designed to benefit a diverse range of people, including individuals and couples of all ages, new Canadians, those who are recovering from bankruptcy, and anyone wanting to gain a firm grasp on their daily spending. A core focus of the program is to offer services to people who might not otherwise be able to afford them.

Financial Coaching
Our financial coaching brings practical focused intention, clarity, commitment, and strategy together into one place so that people looking for help can reach their financial goals and realize their God-given purpose.
Our coaches come alongside people who desire literacy and accountability in a one-on-one coaching relationship where they learn to better manage their finances and grow in their understanding of money management, stewardship, and generosity.
Coaching isn’t advice giving, although coaches do provide information and education. It’s about exploring possibilities, goals, and dreams, and providing accountability for the decisions and commitments they make.
WOC financial coaching has a basic format of one-on-one hourly coaching sessions either online or in person, and includes monthly workshops related to the heart issues around money.
Through one-on-one coaching meetings, or the self-directed e-FiT program, WOC walks with people as they:
- Build an emergency cushion
- Track their spending and create a spending plan
- Live on less than they make
- Plan what they spend and spend what they plan
- Pay down debt
- Start saving
- Learn to give generously
For Couples
WOC coaches provide guidance for couples on how to merge their finances, encouraging engaged couples to work towards doing the same, as prayer and godly biblical perspectives are brought into money planning and spending.
It’s about exploring possibilities, goals, and dreams, and providing accountability for the decisions and commitments they make.
For Those Needing Spiritual Encouragement
WOC coaches provide generative, prayerful listening, as they ask thoughtful, clarifying questions. So much of financial coaching is question asking, listening prayerfully and thoughtfully, and then wisely adding financial literacy into each conversation.
